What is adrafinil?
Adrafinil is a synthetic white (with a tinge of pink) crystalline powder that is originally developed by Louis Lafon Laboratories. It is previously known through its brand name Olmifon and chemical name (diphenylethyl)sulfinyl-2-acetohydroxamic acid. It is slightly soluble and is characterized by its light sulfuric smell and taste.
Adrafinilis being metabolized to modafinil in the liver and is being excreted through the urine and sweat. Hence, you should not feel worried if your urine and sweat has a sulfuric smell on it. Numerous studies have been done to assess the safety and toxicology of adrafinil. Generally, it is safe and well tolerated by humans when used in recommended dosages.
